Release Notes - camSpecs V2.8.1 (Build 023) (released February 24th, 2011)
===========================================================================

* Added utilization of new RAW file format for PhaseOne cameras (*.IIQ)

* Bug fixes and improvement of filter detection in case of wide angle lenses

===========================================================================
Release Notes - camSpecs V2.8 (Build 020) (released October 17th, 2011)
===========================================================================

* New module "on-site recalibration", allows the creation of a new calibration
file with the delivered monochrome camera. Changes in the characteristics
of the lamp over time can be compensated at any time.

* Implementation of Digital Still Camera / Sensitivity Metamerism Index (DSC/SMI),
which is a measure for the goodness of the colorimetric reproduction of the camera.

* Dark frame subtraction in module 'Validation'

Release Notes - camSpecs V2.7  (released Mai 25th, 2011)
===========================================================================

* Implementation of the measurement of non-standard Bayer pattern images.
Cameras with differing non-RGB patterns can now be measured.
In the "Demosaing" section of the advanced settings menu 'C' (for clear)
can be chosen to simulate any other filter than R, G, or B for all four
entries of the Bayer pattern.

Release Notes - camSpecs V2.6  (released November 5th, 2010)
===========================================================================

* Softare adapted to new neutral filters in the hardware of Express version.

* All three CCM matrices are displayed in GUI and saved to one text file.

===========================================================================
Release Notes - camSpecs V2.5  (released October 7th, 2010)
===========================================================================

* Added two methods for color correction matrix calculation: Least-squares,
white-point preserving least-squares

* Software gives a warning if ROI size for the filters is to small
(number of all pixels less than 100)

===========================================================================
Release Notes - camSpecs V2.1 - 2.4
===========================================================================

* Skipped and not released versions

===========================================================================
Release Notes - camSpecs V2.0  (released September 27th, 2010)
===========================================================================

* New GUI layout and functionality

* New hardware integration of Express version (all filters in one image)

* Three new modules: validation of measurement with ColorChecker
(ColorChecker 24 and ColorChecker SG) images, Color Correction Catrix (CCM)
calculation and on-site recalibration

* Automatic filter detection

* Automatic RAW conversion

* Batch processing for both versions: multiple images for Express version or
multiple series of images for multishot version

* Provides data sets of standard illumination sources and ColorChecker reflectance

* Creates a tile images for the multishot version. All images are merged to
an overview image for controlling the correct positions of the ROIs in all filters

First version

Release Notes - camSpecs V1 first release
===========================================================================
CamSpecs is a stand alone software which is able to read TIFF, BMP, PGM, PPM or
RAW image files in 8 and 16 bit depth. The images of the filter array of
camSpecs express or the images of the filters of the projector hardware,
taken with a digital still camera, are automatically detected and the spectral
measurement is performed.
